High blood pressure (hypertension) rarely has notable symptoms, however, if left untreated leaves you vulnerable to the risks of heart attack & stroke.

If you are in the “at-risk” category such as the family history of heart attack/stroke, it is advisable to have your blood pressure checked by a health care professional such as your GP or your local Life Pharmacist. We can detect any issues that may need to be addressed & advise you on a course of action.

When first diagnosed many people become overwhelmed & anxious about the future. Fortunately, the prognosis is very positive & your Life Pharmacy team will charter a path specific to you, to bring your blood pressure under control. this primarily involves educating you on your condition, on any medication you may need to take & on your blood pressure goal.
