Currently run by David Reen and his team the pharmacy was established by Edmond P. (Ned) Murphy and Maura O'Sullivan in 1946. Peggy Reen from Millstreet came to work with Maura in 1970 and took over the running of the pharmacy. Peggy married Tom Fox in 1971 and continues to proudly serve the locality. In 2014 she handed the reins over to new nephew David in 2014. David and his team continue to proudly serve the people of Sliabh Luachra providing a much needed local service to the community.
